Methods Of Implementation

1.0 REGISTRATION

1.1 The mandatory categories are for the following activities :

All Big Supermarkets (Supermarkets / Hypermarkets),
Supermarket / Mini Market / Convenience Store,
Restaurant, Cafeteria / Eatery,
Pharmacy / Health Goods,
Accessories Shop, Clothing; and
other related premises in the administration of the Sepang Municipal Council

1.2 Forms and supporting documents

• Form CPBP-A
• Copy of a valid Business License (based on the address of the business premises)

2.0 SUBMISSION OF COLLECTION

2.1 The collection submission schedule by period is as follows :-

JULY TO DECEMBERBEFORE JANUARY 15

2.2 Payment Procedure

• Complete form CPBP-B (Plastic Bag Charge Collection Submission)
• Email the form to ctaishah@mpsepang.gov.my for the payment bill preparation process

2.3 Forms and supporting documents

• Form CPBP-B
• Copy of Business License
• Collection statement supporting documents for each premise

2.4 Payment can be made through :-

• MPSepang Main Counter / MPSepang kiosk
• Deraf Bank (on behalf of the Majlis Perbandaran Sepang)
• Debit / Credit Card
• Cash
• Bankers Check (on behalf of the Majlis Perbandaran Sepang) – Company checks are Not Accepted

3.0 PLASTIC FREE PREMISES

If the premises do not supply plastic bags to customers, the premises need to submit form CPBP-C as a record of Plastic Bag Free Premises to the department for verification.

4.0 MISCELLANEOUS

PLEASE NOTE, if you are found to have failed / refused / disobeyed / been negligent in complying with the instructions that have been given, the Sepang Municipal Council will proceed with enforcement action / cancellation of the business license.
